Knitting Projects

I learn to knit when I was in high school.  My friend, Gail, decided to we needed to knit our boyfriends a sweater so we purchase our yarn and we were off....The only thing is no one told us the patterns we chose were too hard for beginners but we perserved anyway and finsished the sweaters.. The other point no informed us about was gauge so when I completed my sweater it was too small for my boyfriend but he graciously wore it one time because he knew how much effort I had put into knitting it for him.....I didn't knit any during college but picked it up again when I had my first child..  I also crocheted along with knitting off and on and about ten years ago I got serious again and have been knitting ever since.  I usually knit alittle every day and some days I knit alot.........
