Great Day with Grandkids plus Yarn

Yesterday we spent the day with our granchildren and even though it rained all day, we had a very good time with them......the one year old is so funny, keeps you laughting at his antics.......the three year old was having a hard day...her arm is still in a sling and I know it must bother her even though you'd never know it was broken...and the five year old is happy as long as you will play some kind of ball or game with him....so we loved being with them.  We miss them so much when circumstances keep us away for more than a couple of weeks.....They are growing up so fast.....

My son and his wife had given me a gift certificate to a yarn store for Mother's Day and I had not had a chance to use it so yestereday my sweet DH gave me a few minutes and I do say a few minutes to run in the store......It didn't take long.  As soon as I saw this yarn, I knew it was what I wanted so I was able to buy five skeins with my certificate....It soft and yummy and I love these white flakes of material in it....Not sure yet what the project will be but have a hint...I am so hooked on this last vest pattern or maybe it will be a shawl...don't know yet but will show you pictures once I decide.....

    This yarn is beautiful, I am partial to blacks and grays. I have no doubt you will find something wonderful to make. :)

    Oh I'm so anxious to see what you create with that awesome looking yarn. Glad you were able to visit and enjoy those grandchildren. Now you probably need to rest like I needed to after my visit with mine in PA.

    Thanks for the nice visit, I can relate to what you said about digital art and a feeling of cheating I have that feeling also, yet it is so much fun. Your compass piece of lovely.
    Your knitting is beautiful in color, pattern, texture and design.

    It is a gift to the spirt to surround yourself with these lovely things you created.
