Happy Valentine's Day

Well we are getting ready to celebrate the day of love...Valentine's Day.  My sweetie sent me these flowers this morning and they are my favorate colors in flowers, pink and purple.....They remind me of my garden in the mountains which overflows with lavendar, coneflowers, bee balm, phlox, day lilies, calla lillies, iris hydrangea, dianthis and camellia's for starts.  I will be glad to see them again...since we had snow again last night, I think it might be a late spring in N.C.
I was amazed how the flowers blended in with the shawl I recently completed.

My 3 three year old granddaughter loves to dance so I decided for Valentine's I would make her a dancing doll.  I can't wait to see her face tomorrow......Pink is her favorite color so I really used the pink......
I hope each of you have a wonderful filled with lots of love....I have enjoyed getting to know so many of you and love it when you stop by to visit..............May God bless you in every area of your life.
Hugs and Blessings

  5. Thanks for stopping at my blog. I've really enjoyed looking around here. You are very creative! I love the doll, the drawings, the journals and the scarf. I've just started knitting myself and am intrigued by the yarn you used.
I also read about the Potters House. I found the name interesting. My son is in the military in Colorado and this summer we visited him there. We stayed in a cabin called The Eagles Nest, which was located at the Potters House retreat center. It was a blessing to stay at such a Christ centered place and it sounds like your place is similar!
