Treated Like a Queen

I have felt much better today; I guess the medicine is kicking in.......my sweet husband has treated me like a queen and waited on me hand and foot.  It's almost hard to admit I feel better as the waiting on will go away....I just had to include this picture that is in my studio...It so represents us "most days"...you know what I mean.....Our dads grew up together and we grew up together; therefore, I have known him my entire life.
We are truly childhood sweethearts.....We've been through alot together and we have had alot of fun times too but our faith has always carried up through both....He is a godly man and I am so blessed to share my life with him.....I love this picture and it always reminds me that we are in this life together for better or worse....
This is today's message but tomorrow's may be a rope....you know what I mean...hahahahahah
Many Blessings to you

  2. That is so very wonderful that you and your husband grew up together. When did you know you would marry??

Thanks for your comments on my journal pages. You asked if I used a store bought one or bound my own. I have yet to bind my own journals, would love to do so some day, even took a class. I will some day. I love the one I am working in currently. I purchased it at Hobby Lobby, and has wonderful frayed page edges. I painted the cover.

I know what you mean about journaling on pages with color. I too keep a purely written journal for my more wordy days, but even that one I would like color!

Have a great day, it's raining here - for days now!!

  3. Thank you for sharing your wonderful story, it made my day :) Glad to hear you´re feeling better.
The painting is beautiful, reminds a bit of the works of Jack Vettriano. Love that style!

  4. Awww! I love that picture and that it represents you and your hubby's love together. I get a great picture in my mind of who you really are by that description.

I'm so glad you are feeling better.

    Have a good weekend!

  5. Oh dear! I can just picture Simon running over everything with blue paint on his feet!!! I am surprised that has not happened here!!! lol

The picture of Simon on your sidebar - is he playing with yarn??? Our youngest kitty loves to play with yarn, unfortunately I have some that will be impossible to unravel because of it!! :) She also likes to unroll toilet paper and stuff it in the toilet!!!
