By the Sea, By the Beautiful Sea

I am down at the beach enjoying a few days to myself while my DH has gone further south for a meeting...The weather is warm and beautiful with a slight breeze blowing at times....The tides coming in and I see lots of white waves as the palms wave slowly in the slight wind that is blowing......It's so relaxing.....walks on the beach......sand in your toes....... reading good books....sitting on the screen porch knitting and spinning watching the water come forward and then receed as if it's teasing you...thank you God for all the beauty you created for us to enjoy..... Below are some of my SEA TREASURES .......some I created and some I bought.....

A Stain Glass Window I Designed at the Top of the Stairway

  2. Gift From The Sea is one of my favourite books. There is nothing like the rhythm of the waves to create an inner calm, I envy you. Now on to the amazing things you have done with sea treasures. My goodness they are beautiful, can this be the same woman who thought she might not have anything to share :-) So glad you've shared your creative treasures with us.

  5. Oh, you were so close to me yesterday!! A day by the sea - isn't it the best? I will never get tired of walking by the ocean or just sitting and staring out at it. There is something magical about it, renewing. I feel an instant calm and gain a greater perspective. Your sea creations are wonderful!! Love, Silke

  9. Oh I hope you are having a wonderful relaxing time. I love the sound and sight of waves.

Love your wonderful beach and shell decorations. Especially love the table and chandelier - beautiful!

You asked about my dots :) Though I liked them, it was getting a little too busy for me, and I really like how my photos are looking on the black. I am quite sure I will change it again at some point!! :)

    Hugs!!

  11. thank you for the kind words on my blog.
I love all your wonderful "sea" treasures! I also adore the water (my Grandparents were from Scotland and ancestors all fishermen) but since the ocean isn't here in Michigan I settle for the Great Lakes which are just as beautiful!
    Have a wonderful Monday!

  13. Hey girl. Love it. You have me anxious to dress up my blog a bit. So pretty. your beach place is beautiful. did you do all that shell work? You are truly amazing girl. We enjoyed our time at the beach also. I sat in amazement at God's handiwork. So nice to just sit and read, nap, dig my toes into the sand and enjoy His song as the waves crashing in. When will you be back? Sandra
