Someone May Be Walking Behind You

These pictures were taken this summer while we had our grandchildren in the mountains....It just jumped out at me that H was following in my DH's footsteps..and I thought what a responsibility it is to walk in a manner worth following......Who else is looking to our example?  And who is our example that we are following?  Big questions to ponder on a Wednesday morning.....

I look to Jesus for He is my example but I realize I often fall short and need His help to keep me strong on the path He has carved for me.  I realize too that others may be looking to me to see a glimpse of Him and what do they see?  We have an awesome responsibility but one that is simple if we keep our eyes on Him ONLY......

Hugs and blessings,
Nancy

  1. This is so true Nancy! I love the second picture especially! When my boys were little I took many pictures like this one! These are good things to think about as we are lights in this world and everyone, including Jesus is watching us.
    Blessings to you.

  3. So true !
One can never know the responsibility that we carry as we tread on this earth.
the affective presence I leave is capable of both good and bad influence.
I really need to be vigilant which I leave.

    Thanks for the reminder.
