Entry for Mind Wide Open Challenge

We were given an image and the word Endings.....www.mind-wideopen.blogspot.com
And This is How I transformed the Picture

It's 1950 and June has been in Paris climbing the fashion industry ladder when she gets word that her mother in Albany, New York is dying of cancer.....She knows she will never forgive herself if she doesn't return home and tell her beloved mother goodbye......She's gotten her ticket to leave Paris on the 19th of May, she's packed her bag and she is returning home with the bittersweet news that she has been invited to have her own run way show and to tell her sweet, precious mother goodbye..
These kind of endings are never easy.....but this mother had given her daughter wings so she will surely fly.......

Hugs and blessings,
Nancy

  3. This is stunning! The colors and images fit the story perfectly. What a sad story ... but I can picture her Mom's proud-filled smile before taking her last breath. Wishing you a beautiful weekend, Ms. Nancy!
