I know I know...I said I was not going to knit anything else until I finished the fisherman's socks.....Well I finished one sock and the top of the second one and I kept seeing where so many people were knitting the eternity scarf and I couldn't help but notice there was a perfect green in my stash.....I thought well, I will just start it, break the monotony of the brown socks, and then I'll go right back to the boring socks......I don't know what happened but the next thing I knew I was finished with the green eternity scarf....It is a fast knit wish the socks were as quick.....Well here's a picture and now I am back with the boring socks...maybe I will finish them this time.....
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and have lots of time to create however you choose to do that....

Pretty scarf! Pretty green! I love the style. Happy Weekend! ~Kathy
ReplyDeleteYes..it is gorgeous BUT..remember who those socks are for!
ReplyDeleteIt turned out really nice! And I can see that it would be more fun than brown socks. However - those brown socks are going to hang over you till you get them done!
ReplyDeleteOh Nancy this is beautiful, and that color green is just about the prettiest green I have ever seen. It looks soft and cozy too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous scarf! I can see why you stopped your socks and made the scarf. Just so you know, I have a pair of socks, that I have been knitting on for almost a year now. They keep getting put down, for more exciting projects. :) BUT, I love wearing handknit socks, do I will finish them.
ReplyDeleteHi Scanner friend. I'm so glad you are liking the book. When I read it, it sounded exactly about me, it actually brought tears to my eyes just knowing I'm not a misfit just because I couldn't focus on just one artistic love.
ReplyDeleteMy excuse to people before were always
"God didn't stop making flowers just because he created the rose, so why should I focus on just one thing' -- Well since reading this book, now I just say 'along with' the previous excuse is "yep, that's how I'm hardwired, so leave me be'. It really is empowering isn't it.
Thanks for the comment on my blog, and I love your green scarf, good job scanner buddy!!!
