Planting Flowers Journal Page

We are getting ready for another retreat here in the mountains and I decided I needed to add some more flowers around the Art Shed...well, when I go to the nurseries and I am just like a kid in a candy store...
I want not one but several of each flower so I came home with my SUV loaded and spent a glorious day yesterday planting to my heart's content....I can truthfully say the Art Shed is now surrounded by beautiful flowers.....I should have taken a picture of myself for you because I was covered in dirt from head to toe but I was here alone and too dirty to mess with the automatic on my camera.....maybe next time...In fact, I went back to the nursery today (I am obsessed) so maybe my hubby will oblige and take one tomorrow when again I go into planting mode.....

Anyway, after coming inside and taking a long, lingering bath, I got out my journal material and the following picture is my take on what was going on in my head while planting joyously...I decided I really didn't want the dirt in the page but only the beauty of the flowers even though I love playing in the dirt and getting dirty (if bathing facilities are available)......

Thank you so much for you sweet and caring comments you left yesterday concerning my hornet bite...
Each of them were comforting to me and I appreciate them so much.....My hand is all well, and you can rest assured that I will not pull weeds again without heavy gloves on my hands.....

Hugs and Blessings,
Nancy

  3. Beeeeeeeeeutiful! Oh Yes, JoY! I am garden obsessed also, but our planting season is over here in the desert, so me thinks you will be giving me a bit a garden envy in the months to come. **blows kisses** Deb

  4. I'm so proud of you for doing a journal page after all of that work planting flowers! Good job! I need to try my hand at making journal pages. I'm not sure what is holding me up other than, just not taking the time to play in my creation time.

Please do take a picture of your flowers soon. I wanna see. Your retreats sound awesome by the way.
