Coneflowers and Butterflies

This summer has been bountiful with cone flowers and butterflies....My garden is just abuzz with butterflies filling their little bellies with nectar.........My camera refuses to lay on the table and not photograph these beautiful, wonderful creatures so my collection continues to grow.....

Hugs and blessings,
Nancy

  2. So there you are! I tried to get you today. Thought you might be in the art shed. Beautiful butterflys. I want to show you one I photographed on my phone when I left your place last time and stopped in Blowing Rock. Unique. Sounds like you are all better.

  5. thanks for these hopeful images, Nancy....needed this tonight....Could I ask ya for a little prayer this week? Just some stuff goin on that's a little hard on the heart.....but, like I read in "My Utmost for His Highest" this week, If there is no strain, there is no strength.....

...and just now happened to look over on your sidebar and saw the words you wrote there...about "God molding our hearts for His purposes and passions".....definitely feeling the "molding" right now....so, bring it on, but with a side of prayer, please.......

    : )

    Thanks, friend....

  9. So nice to find you this morning, Nancy, another North Carolian...and I have to add that you are SO blessed to be within the mountains! My Mom had a beautiful log cabin in Sparta, and we absolutely adored it, and the peace it offered. There was nothing like sitting on the porch and watching the deer approach during the morning (or evening) outings. The mountains truly are God's Country, and what a beautiful spot you have within them! Love your art journaling, beautiful gardens, and I SO want to attempt digital collaging! Very nice to meet you; I look forward to getting to know you. Happy Day ~~ Jeanne in Piedmont, NC

  10. Beautiful photos of those butterflies! What kind of camera do you use? Is it a 35 mm ? I am amazed with the clarity of those butterflies on the flowers. I'm going to start calling you the Butterfly Lady. he he

Butterflies and flowers are truly one of God's most beautiful creations.
